Lil Wayne Avoids Jail For A Third Time

Lil Wayne dodges jail again and will not begin his sentence at Riker’s Island today. This is the third time his sentence has been postponed. Wayne was supposed to surrender on February 9th, but was given additional freedom so that he could receive some “much needed dental work.”

Yesterday March 2nd, Wayne was supposed to begin his one year jail sentence, but his sentencing was postponed again after the basement of the New York courthouse caught fire.

According to several sources, The Manhattan District Attorney’s Office has pushed back his sentencing to Monday, March 8 and not today as scheduled because of repairs being made on the courthouse.
