Video Of Lil Wayne On His Way To Jail; Serving Time In General Population

There is a rumor that rapper Lil Wayne is going to serve his time in general population.

According to New York’s Daily News Wayne’s lawyer, Stacey Richman,

originally claimed that the rap superstar was being forced into protective custody. Stephen Morello, a spokesperson for the Correctional Department, cleared up those allegations, saying that the New Orleans-bred MC will have “general population escort” status.

I highly doubt they’re going to make him do his time in general population.

Here is a video of Lil Wayne on his way to jail. Look at all the chaos out there, damn you would think people were there to see god almighty or something.

Lil Wayne Finally Goes To Riker’s Island

On February 9th, Lil Wayne was suppose to be sentence to one year in jail after being caught with an illegal loaded .40 caliber handgun in New York City. That date was postponed to March 2nd, because the rapper had to get “much needed dental work.”

On March 2, Wayne showed up to surrender himself, only to see the Manhattan Criminal Court house on fire. The condition forced the judge to once again pushed Wayne’s sentence back. This time his sentencing was rescheduled for today (March 8th).

Lil Wayne was officially sentenced to jail today and the rapper was taken away in handcuffs to begin serving his time on NYC Riker’s Island.

Lil Wayne can get out in eight months on good behavior.

Today Lil Wayne left a message via his Twitter page, “Law is mind without reason. ……………..I’ll return,”
